A wrap for a flat item
Book wraps are cardboard packs for books and other flat goods. The category also calls them book wrap mailers or peel-and-seal postal wraps. They are not a deep carton and they are not a poly mailer. The board keeps the item flat. The seal closes it without a tape gun.
The category says the wraps we distribute are the Tenvowrap brand, made from corrugated cardboard, and that they are depth adjustable. It also says they have red peel-and-seal strips. The eco-friendly page describes book wraps as 100% recycled E-flute cardboard, biodegradable and recyclable.
M-envelope boxes
M-envelope boxes are the other flat postal board pack, listed with the eco-friendly ranges. The eco-friendly page says the Tenvolope brand uses 100% recycled materials and is fully recyclable. Use them when you want that range rather than the Tenvowrap book wrap.
Royal Mail large letter boxes are a third option when the limit is the large-letter format rather than a book-shaped wrap. Check the format you actually post before you standardise on one pack.
When a wrap is the wrong pack
A wrap adjusts in depth, but it is still a flat pack. A deep product, a bottle, or a set of items that must not press on each other needs a box. Crash lock boxes and single wall boxes are the ranges for that. A padded envelope is the alternative when you want a bag with a bubble lining instead of corrugated board.
The Royal Mail changes page lists postal cardboard wraps in C1, C2 and C3 among the compliant packs it says we stock. Those are the sizes to read if the wrap has to stay inside the small parcel rules.
